Canon Announces New Digital Imaging Solutions

For medical professionals, having precise imaging to evaluate patients is crucial, and for eye car professionals, maximizing the level of detail is essential. At the recent Academy of Ophthalmology meeting, Canon introduced new higher resolution retinal and Optical Tomography cameras that offer faster shutter speeds and more ergonomic designs.
In addition to providing sate of the art standards, Canon also introduced the new Spoct retinal cross-section imaging camera that captures fields in true 3D to provide a valuable diagnostic for eye car professionals. Unique to Canon, the company has a fully integrated digital imaging software platform that provides retinal cameras, autotonometers, kertometers and complete medical record storage in a unified solution.
